State and federal marijuana laws, the CBD explosion, and business practices will be the hot seminar topics at this year’s Cannabis Con, being held May 29- June 1, 2018, at Miami Beach’s SLS South Beach Hotel. In addition, Yohan Marley will be performing a set at 12 PM on May 30th at the SLS.
“The cannabis industry is quickly-evolving and with Florida’s developing market—the panel discussions will cover all the important aspects for all types of cannabis businesses,” said Cannabis Con founder and show organizer Clinton Cox.
“These seminars are important in educating people about the laws, restrictions and opportunities that abound for medical and recreational marijuana businesses.”
The four seminar panels will feature specialists and professionals from across the industry:
‘What is the Florida Law—What Does it Mean—What is on the Horizon for the State and Federal Government’ panel will include NORML Executive Director Karen Seeb Goldstein, Minardi Law’s Michael Minardi, Florida for Care’s Executive Director Eric Stevens and GreenAcre Consulting Team’s President/Founder Rolando Vazquez.
‘CBD Boom—What Products are Working the Best—Who are the Patients and What is on the Horizon for CBD’ panel guests are Green Roads’ CEO Arby Barroso, Scottsdale Research Institute’s MD Sue Sisley, Dr. Stern’s CBD doctor Dr. Bryan Stern and former NFL player and cannabis advocate Mike James.
‘Better Business Practices—What’s Working in Other States’ will host panel experts Sativa Caveman CEO Dave Roehr and Mahoning Valley Agriculture’s Sanjay Bawan, with special added guests to be announced.
‘Industry vs. Government vs. Media’ speakers will include High Times’ CEO Adam Levin, Bang Digital Media’s Steve Berke and the Staudt Agency’s Mighty Matt, with more speakers to be announced.
In addition to the seminars and attendees, both Madzilla and YesJulz will be at Cannabis Con.
“We are fortunate to have such a widely recognized and respected group of panelists this year, and hope attendees take full advantage of their knowledge and expertise,” said Cox. “Everything from the seminars to the exhibits and meeting/networking opportunities are to greatly benefit our attendees—it’s going to be an amazing week in Miami Beach!”
